These terms apply to the Hoodly app, where you browse the deals in your neighborhood and can claim them. Browsing requires no account; claiming a deal requires signing in. There is no payment in the app.

1. Hoodly's role

Hoodly is a discovery service: it shows the deals published by nearby businesses in a single view. A deal is always the responsibility of the business that published it, not of Hoodly. Hoodly is not a party to your dealings with the business.

If you allow the use of your location, deals are ordered by walking distance and each one shows the distance and an estimated walking time. The estimate is indicative and does not bind Hoodly. Allowing location is voluntary, and the app works without it; the processing of location is described in the privacy policy.

Deal images. The images shown with deals are illustrations created by Hoodly with the help of AI. They are marked with an AI badge, and they do not necessarily depict an individual portion, product, or service.

2. Account and signing in

Browsing deals requires no account. Claiming a deal requires signing in with a Google account; in the iOS app you can also sign in with an Apple account. You are responsible for the use of your sign-ins and of your account. You can delete your account at any time from the app.

3. Claiming deals

When you claim a deal, you take one slot of its limited quantity for yourself, along with a claim code. You show the code at the business's location, where the transaction takes place. The availability, content, and terms of a deal are determined by the business that published it, and they may change. A claim is not a payment and does not oblige you to complete the transaction.

4. No payment in the app

Nothing is paid in the app. Any payment is made directly to the business at its location, using the business's own payment methods.

5. Proper use

Use the app for its intended purpose. Do not attempt to claim deals fraudulently, circumvent claim limits, or interfere with the operation of the service.

6. Limitation of liability

Hoodly is provided as is. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or quality of the deals published by businesses, nor for your dealings with a business. We are not liable for indirect damages, except to the extent that mandatory law requires otherwise.

7. Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland.

8. Changes

As the service develops, these terms are updated. We announce significant changes in the app.
